Where passion meets precision — pre-professional dance training bringing LA to Nashville since 2016.
At Milele Academy Dance, we believe dance is about much more than learning steps. Our mission is to develop confident, respectful, and well-rounded young people both inside and outside the studio.
While students receive high-quality training in technique, performance, and choreography, we also focus on teaching important life skills. At Milele Academy, dancers learn about kindness, anti-bullying, positive affirmations, class etiquette, teamwork, and respect for others.
We strive to create an environment where every dancer feels supported, encouraged, and valued. Our goal is to help students grow not only as dancers, but also as individuals. Through discipline, encouragement, and community, Milele Academy is dedicated to shaping strong dancers and stronger humans.
Milele Academy was founded in 2016 with a bold vision: to bring the caliber of Los Angeles dance training to the Nashville area. What started as a dream by the Milele's, quickly grew into one of the region's most respected pre-professional dance studios.
After years of serving dancers in downtown Nashville, we relocated to our facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Our grand opening in July 2024 at 9600 Lebanon Road marked a new chapter: more opportunity in the community, and an even greater commitment to developing the next generation of performers.
The vision and heart behind everything we do.
Jamie Milele is the founder and owner of Milele Academy, a boutique dance studio built on passion, family, and a deep love for the arts. The idea for Milele Academy began in 2016 while Jamie was having dinner with her son and daughter, Justin and Marissa Milele, who were living in Los Angeles at the time training and auditioning as they pursued their dreams in the entertainment industry. That moment sparked Jamie's vision to create a place where dancers could receive strong training while being supported in a positive and inspiring environment.
Jamie comes from a family rooted in entertainment, singers, dancers, and creatives surrounded her and shaped her appreciation for the arts from an early age. While her children pursued professional dance opportunities, Jamie brought a different but equally valuable skill set to the table. With years of experience in restaurant management and real estate, Jamie developed strong leadership, organizational, and business skills, enabling her to successfully run and grow Milele Academy. In addition to operating the studio, she continues to work as a licensed realtor, balancing both careers with dedication and passion.
Today, Milele Academy remains a family-owned small business with a boutique feel, offering dancers personalized attention, quality training, and a supportive community that reflects the values Jamie envisioned from the very beginning.
